"and a quieter time to enjoy the Isle of Skye"
NOVEMBER & DECEMBER
The winter months are the perfect time to enjoy the austere beauty and the magical peace of the island and it's stunning dark skies.
Enjoy a walk through local forest plantations, along the Trotternish Ridge, around the Quiraing, or up Macleod's Tables and return to enjoy a dram or afternoon tea or simply curl up with a book in front of the fire. A gentle stroll along the sea shore where otters and eagles visit, or a walk around the peninsula is also rewarded by stunning views.
Recent winters have made us aware that the extremes of winter weather can affect the best laid travel plans of our guests and make access to Greshornish House even more of a challenge. We will no longer try to remain fully open during the winter months but as we live here, those looking for bed and breakfast accommodation should contact us: we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer a full service, or that the house will be particularly warm, but you will be more than welcome.
Please note that we are always closed for two weeks in November and for Christmas.
(ALL PRICES QUOTED ARE INCLUSIVE OF V.A.T. AT 20%)
