"Fantastic Food"
Our daily changing seasonal menus use the freshest of local seafood, garden fruit and vegetables, Highland meat and game, Scottish cheeses and other national produce. The cuisine is complemented by wines from our well-stocked cellar.
We cater for those guests who have made reservations in advance; those who have not made a reservation in advance may find that we cannot always cater for them at short notice, for which we are sorry.
Any specific dietary requirements or preferences should be made known to us at the time of booking so that these can be accommodated. (In this remote location, it can be difficult to obtain appropriate ingredients at short notice.)
Non-residents are welcome, but booking in advance is essential.
Our dinners are served by candlelight from a three or four course table d'hôte menu (£35/£40). Some items, such as lobster and certain cuts of Prime Scotch Beef attract supplements. These dinners are available from March to October.
A lighter a la carte supper menu (minimum two courses) may also be available.
Our chef takes great pride in preparing all dishes to order and the time taken to dine will reflect this.
Breakfast, morning coffee, afternoon teas and children's meals are generally served in the Conservatory.
